Pastor Sam Davenport of Main Street Christian Church then spoke briefly about this year's Rush County Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year recipient, Chip West. Davenport noted that West has demonstrated his willingness to make Rushville and Rush County a better place to live and work on many occasions. "Chip is truly a community leader, and I'm pleased to be able to present him with this recognition," he said.
